The launch of Amana Model Secondary School comes at a critical time, as the federal Ministry of Education and city education bureaus are implementing aggressive measures to improve the quality of education in the country. 

AMSS will continue to partner with education authorities at various levels (from woreda to region) to conduct training initiatives, leveraging its advanced facilities to further support the professional development of educators at schools across Addis Ababa.

At AMSS, we are confident that our practice-oriented approach will serve as a model for transforming science education and inspire the proliferation of similar institutions across the country.

Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, AMSS plans to implement several hands-on learning methods to provide a practice-based science education to support hands-on learning and experimentation.
