Today, April 25/2025 We had the honor of welcoming Birhan Nega, Software Engineer and Co-founder & CEO of SkyHub, to Our Amana School. He shared his journey of challenges and success, encouraging our students to stay curious, work hard, and believe in their dreams.Through his words, our students learned that struggles are part of the journey, and with resilience, curiosity, and focus, success is within reach.

Today, our students participated in a special session titled “Lost in the Loop”, focused on understanding the world of social media and the reality behind our online habits.

The session was conducted in two parts:

Boys’ session led by Mr. Hassen Awel

Girls’ session led by Ms. Faeza Seid

As educators, we see how strongly the digital world influences this generation—from how they spend their time to how they view themselves and others. Through this session, we aimed to start a conversation that will continue beyond the classroom.
